The recovery of pure-grade uPVC and of the other materials is realised in multiple steps. First, the complete elements are chopped up coarsely in the shredder and then separated fully automatically according to grades. The selected uPVC is checked for grade-purity, shredded and cleaned numerous times until 100% uPVC material can be recovered again. This granulated material is processed into new high-quality profiles. From it, ARC can produce new top-quality windows, doors and shutters again. The recycling process and the reuse of uPVC building elements which have served their purpose helps to save resources and to avoid their disposal or combustion.
